Shaped cards at Sentimental Sundays

I chose this beautiful image/sentiment to use on my card.  The designer paper is My Mind's Eye 'The Sweetest Thing'.  The image has been coloured wih copics.  Hope you like it.

Good afternoon all,   Sorry i am a bit late with my post.  My Mum is not well and i had to make an urgent flight to UK so i can be with her.  It was all done in a few hours and i have been upside down ever since. Packing, unpacking, visiting .................

I decided to make a little basket. I will fill it with chocolates and give it to my Mum when i see her next or i have a nice little scarf that will fit it perfectly. Think she'd prefer the choccies though!

Die Cuts at Charisma Cardz

Good morning all,

I hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. I have had a rather busy week. In the last 12 days we (Myself, Hubby and Little Man) have been to 9 hospital/dentist appointments! I have had an enlarged lymph node removed from my neck and my 4 year old 'Little' Man has had root treatment to save a bad back tooth which set me back £350 pounds...ouch! To top it off, my Mum is in hospital too..... not so happy days!

Anyway, enough about me, i am here to share with you a card i made for the Charisma Cardz challange this week.

The theme this week is: DIE CUTS. Easy right?

I made this card using this fabulous 'freebie' sentiment from the amazing Desert Diva - Hannelie.  Thank you Hannelie, i love this sentiment :D  Actually, when i made it, I had my Mum in mind because she is definitely one amazing girl and has been through so much in the past three years.  Love You Mum!

You are Amazing Girl!

Good afternoon all,

 

Happy Sunday to you all.  I am here today to let you know about this week's fab challenge at Sentimental Sundays.

 

The theme is easy .... Anything Goes.  Told ya! :D

 

I was lucky last week to win a couple of digis from A Creative Need (Thank You Deena) so i have used one on my card today.  I picked the 'Dress Form' image and thought i would try something different! The sentiment (which i really really love) is a 'freebie' from the super talented Hannelie.  You can visit her blog Desert Diva here.  Thank you Hannelie (again!).

 

The papers are a mix from my stash which i distressed, i paper pieced the dress and added a little distress ink to the edges.  A bow and a few pins complete this girly card.  Would love to know what you think, good or bad! ;)

Here i am with my second post of the day and what a good one it is too! I am here to let you know about this week's 'fun' challenge over at Crafty Catz.

Hectic morning here as usual but little man is away with Daddy to get his hair cut so i have half an hour to do my two posts!
