Gingerbread Treats

Good morning all,

I hope you are all having a good weekend.  Apologies for not posting anything these last few days, life is a bit hectic at the moment, from school activities, DT projects and holiday planning.  Anyway, i am here today to let you know about the new challenge over at the 2 Sisters Challenge blog.

This week the theme is: GINGERBREAD TREATS!  We all love gingerbread, right?

The sponsor this week is ROBYN'S FETISH and they are offering one lucky winner 5 digis of their choice.

I was delighted to receive this beautiful ' Gingerbread Woman' image from Robyn's Fetish for my card.  You can find her here.  Puts me in the mood for nipping into M&S and stocking up on little gingerbread people.  :D

Thank you for visiting today.  If you pop on over to the 2 Sisters challenge blog, you can view my DT teamies beautiful inspiration.  It would be great if you joined in with the challenge too.  I look forward to seeing all your yummy projects.

Take care and have a great weekend.

Hugs, Jill x

Friends forever

Good morning crafters!

How are you all today? I hope you are all having a good weekend.  I am here this morning to share a card with you and to tell you about this week's challenge at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog.

The amazing sponsor this week is The Crafting Boutique and the theme is Anything Goes. Simple!

Why not pop over to the 2 Sister's blog and take a peek at the other fabulous DT creations and maybe you could join us this week? It would be great if you did.

This week i chose a rubber stamp image for my card that i have not had the chance to ink up yet.  It is from Whiff of Joy and is called ''Friends Forever' - Nora & Ben. The fence is a Tim Holtz die cut and the flowers and butterfly are by K &Company.  The dp is Back to Basics III and i coloured my image with copics.

Challenges i am entering are:

Divas by Design  #56 Anything Goes
Crafts and Me Challenges #105 Anything Goes
Incy Wincy Designs Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp DIES and/or PUNCHES

Thank you for visiting.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Thinking of You

Good morning crafters!

Here i am again relying on blogger to schedule my post on time! My previously cancelled operation was rescheduled for wednesday so whilst i am expecting to be home by now, i am not sure if i will be up to posting this on time!

Anyway, a new month means a month of new challenges over at the 2 Sisters challenge blog.

This week the theme is a sketch and we are sponsored by the fabulous Stitchy Bear Stamps

It would be great if you joined us in this challenge and if you pop over to the 2 Sisters challenge blog you will see the other DT's beautiful inspiration.

Here is the sketch.

I turned the sketch on its side for my card.  I used this beautiful 'Fanciful Bouquet' digi from Stitchy Bear.  You can find it here.  The papers are Back to Basics III but unfortunately didn't come out too well in this photo.

Thank you for visiting today. I will try and pop around to all your blogs as soon as i am up and about a bit.

Take care, Big hugs, Jill x

Bookmark!

Good morning all,

I hope you are all well and having a good weekend.

I am here to tell you about this week's fab challenge over at the 2 Sisters challenge blog.

The theme this week is: Use your favourite stamp (digi or rubber). How cool is that?

I am sure you will all want to pop over to the 2 Sisters challenge blog and take a peek at the inspiration the DT has created for you.  It would also be fab if you could join us in this week's challenge.  Go on, what are you waiting for? lol  I am looking forward to seeing all your gorgeous stamps.

Whilst there are no sponsors this week, there will still be two winners! The prize? Each winner will be asked to be a Guest Designer for the months of November and December. Yay!

So, onto my project.  I decided to use my 'Dancing Party Tilda' image and as i am currently using an old piece of card to keep my page in my book, i thought now was the time to make myself a bookmark.  What do u think?  You place the ribbon inside the book to keep the page and the embellished part hangs outside.  Obviously, i here you all say!

The white Spellbinders heart die cut has been coloured with spun sugar distress ink so it is actually pink but it looks white in this photo. I made it a bit darker too once i uploaded this photo.  It blends in a bit better now! The butterfly was made using a Tonic punch and was given texture and sparkle using Ranger embossing tinsel (bridal). The paper is from Back to Basics III and the cardstock by Bazzill. The flowers are from Hobbycraft which i tinted using my distress inks. The image is coloured with copics. Ribbon and buttons from my stash!

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Take care.

Big hugs,
Jill x
