Christmas Sparkle

Good morning all,

I hope you are all well.  I still have this terrible cold (since last Saturday) and now my little man's cough and sore throat has turned into a runny nose too! What are we like? lol  Anyway, yesterday was weird.  We had rain! Yes, not unusual for some but for us living in the desert, it's the first rain this year. And oh boy, thunder, lightning and rain for 1 hour and it flooded the neighbourhood. Roads were impassable and my little man was calling our car ' a boat' ! lol

Anyway, enough about me, let me tell you about this week's challenge at 2 Sisters.

The theme is CHRISTMAS SPARKLE.

And there are two fabulous sponsors this week.

And here is my DT card. I have added the sparkle to the snow and the sentiment. The image is a Bugaboo image that was a 'Friday Freebie'.  Thank you Bugaboo.  The background paper is My Mind's Eye 'Everyday Flair' and the polka dot paper is from We R Memory Keepers 'Cotton Tail'.  The sentiment stamp is from The Greeting Farm.

I hope you will find some time to visit the other DTinspiration at 2 Sisters and it would be fantastic if you could join in with this challenge.

Challenges i'd like to enter:

Simply Create #12
The Ribbon Girls - 'Ho Ho Ho'
Allsorts Week 183 'Advent'
Natalie & Amy's Challenge 'Winter Wishes'
Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge 77 ' I Love Christmas'
Cute Card Thursday Challenge 245 ' Snowflakes'
The Paper Shelter #92 'Christmas is coming'

Ok, i must dash. It is UAE National Day here in Dubai and there are big celebrations going on everywhere.

Wishing you all a great weekend and whatever you are doing take care.

Big hugs,
Jill x

Rudolf

Good morning crafters,

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  My internet saga continues (Day 9) and i am still borrowing my neighbours (so grateful or i would be climbing the walls by now!).

Anyway, i am not here to complain about my internet, i am here to let you know about the fab new challenge over at the 2 Sisters Challenge Blog today.

This is Challenge # 117 and the theme is: Use Your Favourite Christmas Stamp.

The sponsor is: The Crafting Boutique.

For my card, i have used this adorable digi by Bugaboo. It's called Rudolf - tree and you can find it here. He was a 'Friday Freebie' when he came to stay with me! I coloured him with copics and the papers are from the Authentique 'Festive' collection. The snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch.  I layered it for depth and added Ranger Tinsel to add sparkle.

Challenges i am entering:

Sweet Stampin - Anything Goes

I hope you will pop over and view the beautiful DT inspiration at the 2 Sisters Challenge Blog and it would be great if you joined us in this challenge.  Looking forward to seeing your projects soon.

Take care.
