Gift Basket with Chocolates

Good morning all,

I hope you are all well.  Today i am here to let you know about the fab new challenge over at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog.

This week the them is: Anything but a card!

The sponsor is: Di's Digi Downloads

For this week's challenge i made a Christmas themed basket which was part of my little man's gift to his teacher.  We filled it with yummy Cadbury's choccies.  The designer paper is old stash of mine and is by Basic Grey (i think).  The handle was made using an EK Success border punch and the snowflake was a Martha Stewart punch.  Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do it justice, i now realise that the photo is squint, the chocs are lop sided, the colours are to pot! Apart from that, it is ok lol Silly me!

A close up of the handle and snowflake embellie.

Thank you for popping by.  Have a great New Year.

Echo Park Seasons Greetings

Good morning,

I hope this post finds you all in good health. With Christmas just around the corner for many, I would like to share a couple of little projects I made for Paper Lane using the beautiful Echo Park ‘Seasons Greetings’ collection.
First of all, I made a mini Christmas card and a matching gift card wallet.   I love the cute shape of this mini card.   You can easily make a little set of these mini cards (but i dont have the energy so i have only made one!) lol
I have also made a scrapbook layout using the same collection which i will post next.
Anyway, here is my card and gift card wallet.

Ice Princess for Pastel Christmas

Good morning all,

Long time to see! Here i am posting the 2 Sisters challenge a bit late because a workman installing internet in another villa destroyed our internet cable in the process and now we have been without interent since Friday am.  This is day 5 and although we have had 3 sets of engineers out, so far, no one knows how to fix the problem! Can you believe it? Now we have to wait on someone else.....argh!  So, in the meantime, i have managed to 'borrow' my neighbours internet which i am most grateful for.  No internet means i have to do housework and that is just not on!

Anyway, since i am already late posting this, i must get on with it!

This is challenge #116 at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog and the theme is PASTEL Christmas.

The sponsor is the fabulous Stitchy Bear digital Stamps.

I received this fantastic digi from Stitchy Bear for my card.  It is called Ice Princess and you can find it here.

I hope you will join us in this challenge and pop over to see the beautiful inspiration provided by my fellow DT members.

I will be back soon with another post and another Christmas card.  Thank you for visiting.  As always, your comments are very much appreciated.

Take care

Good morning crafters!

It's me again, here to tell you about this week's challenge over on the 2 Sisters Challenge blog.

This week the theme is WHITE, BLACK + ONE OTHER.
The sponsor this week is the fabulous MELJENS.
Here is my card. Isn't this image so cute? I coloured 'him' with Copics and for the snow on the ground, his hat and gloves i painted them with acrylic paint and then sprinkled with Ranger embossing tinsel to give it dimension and sparkle (although it is not very obvious in the photo).  The white panel behind the image is also embossed and hard to see in this photo too! The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm. Hope you like it.

Challenges i would like to enter:

Please pop over to 2 Sisters and take a peek at the gorgeous DT inspiration.  We would love it if you joined us in this challenge.

Good morning crafters,

I hope you are all doing well. I am back in the land of sand, sea and sun. Almost organised after spending the last two months visiting my family. The older i get, the longer it takes me to unpack and adjust again.

Anyway, i am here today with a new card for the fantastic new challenge over at Charisma Cardz.

This week the theme is 'No Embellishments' which was chosen by Gem.   This was a challenge for me because i love adding embellishments and i had to refrain myself a few times from sneaking one on here and there! :)

The sponsor this week is the fabulous Digistamp Boutique and they are offering one lucky winner 6 digis.

The image i used is from Digistamp Boutique and was a 'freebie' on their website in June. Thank you Digistamp Boutique.    Isn't it cute? (the image, not my card!) lol

Paper: Craft UK 6x6'' scalloped card base, Blue gingham, white polkadot embossed cardstock

2 Sisters Challenge # 101

Good morning all,

I hope you are having a good weekend. Today, i am here let you know about this weeks challenge over at the 2 Sisters Challenge Blog.

As you already probably know, 2 Sisters are having a 'Christmas in July' month so for the entire month of July the theme is CHRISTMAS. Each week there is an optional twist to the theme. To qualify for a chance to win the sponsor prize all you have to do is enter a card or project using the theme of Christmas. However if you also use the optional twist, your name will be put into a drawing at the end of the month for a chance to win a prize package from my shop The Crafting Boutique

This week's optional twist is: Use an image of an animal or with an animal in it. Remember you don't have to use the twist unless you would like to be entered into the monthly drawing.
This week's sponsor is the fabulous Meljens Designs Designs.
I was lucky enough to be given a fantastic digi from Meljens Designs and this is what i created.

I coloured the image with Copics and added some bling to the jingle bells.  The edges of the papers were distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink (Walnut stain) and i used a Close to my Heart Edge distressing tool on the matted image.  Designer paper on the card base is called 'mistletoe' and is by Making Memories and the paper used for matting and to the left behind the image is from the DCWV Collage Musings stack pack. The sentiment was on the reverse of the mistletoe paper.

Thank you for visiting.  I hope you will visit the other DT projects on the 2 Sisters blog and hope you will join in the challenge this week too.

    Take care,
    Hugs,

2 Sisters Challenge Blog Christmas in July

Good morning all, i hope you are all having a great weekend.  Today, i have some news to share with you.

I am delighted to announce that i have been asked to join the fabulous 2 Sisters Challenge Blog Design Team.  Yay!  I start today and will be providing DT inspiration every Saturday for the next 6 months so i hope you will all come and join in the fun at the 2 Sisters Challenge Blog .

During the month of July 2 Sisters Challenge Blog will have a month long theme of Christmas In July. Each week they will have a new sponsor and a new prize. And each week they will also have an optional bonus. You are free to make a Christmas project or you can join in and create a Christmas project using the bonus. Everyone who follows the challenge and rules will be entered for a chance to win that week's prize. But as an added extra bonus during the entire month of July anyone who uses the bonus will be added into a special surprise drawing at the end of the month.  How cool is that?

This is Week 99 and the sponsor is the fabulous Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps.

Incase you have forgotten, the theme is: CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Bonus (optional): No Red and Green

Here is my card:

Recipe:

I printed the image onto white cardstock and coloured it with copics.  To the tree, i added some bling in the shape of some mini gems.  You probably can't see it in the photo but i added some 'snow' to the bottom of the card, the edge of the pink cardstock (yes, the cardstock is pink even though it looks red in the photo!) and i also added some snowflakes around the image using Ranger Embossing Tinsel. The snowflakes stamps are part of a set from The Greeting Farm.  The corner dies are by Cheery Lynn.

Thank you for visiting.  If you leave me  comment, i will know you stopped by and i will come and visit you too.  Have a good day.

As you can probably tell, i am a fan of this folded Christmas tree design, it is so easy yet effective and as i still have a few Christmas cards to be getting on with, i might be using it again! This card was made with a male relative in mind hence the masculine colours! Thanks for looking :)
