One layer card at Charisma Cardz

Good morning all,

 

I hope you are all well and having a good week.  Today i have popped in to let you know about this week's challenge at Charisma Cardz.

 

The theme is: ONE LAYER CARD (One piece of card folded in half with no additional layers and minimal embellishments, where the image is stamped or printed directly onto the cardstock.)

Well i must point out that this has been the hardest week ever as a DT member trying to making a one layer card.  It is almost impossible for me to make such a thing and i dont mind admitting that i have many more grey hairs this week than i did last week! I am not atall happy with my 'attempts' so i'm apologising in advance. 

 

This card is a freebie image and sentiment that i printed directly onto the cardstock.  I am usually so careful to note where i got the freebies from but on this occasion i have mislaid the info.  If anyone knows, please can you let me know so i can give them credit.

 

 

In my second card, i created the background using distress inks and stamped the image with distress ink. 

 

 

Two simple cards that took me days to make! How crazy is that!  Anyway, i know you can do better so please join in this week's challenge at Charisma Cardz.  If you pop over to their blog you can feat your eyes on the other DT members fab creations.
