Little Cutie!

Hello crafters, hope you are all having a good day. Today, i want to share with you two cards that i have made. This is my first proper attempt at using digis and i had fun! Good evening crafters, i am back with my second Sugar Nellie card of the day.  I decided on a non traditional colour scheme and chose cream, pale oranges and browns. After all, not every little girl like pink, right? lol Anyway, this is the card i came up with......

Happy Holidays!

Good Evening crafters, it's time for another challenge.  Today i have created a 'bauble' using a punched circle from Making Memories Mistletoe cardstock (to create the 'happy holidays' sentiment in the middle) then i added various buttons and bling to make the bauble and shiny glittery silver ribbon for the string and bow.

Altered Can!

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a good day.  Well, today i am trying a 'different' challenge. No cards today, i am entering the TRY IT ON TUESDAY challenge. The theme is Alter it - transform a can. So here it is, my creation! It used to be a breadcrumbs can but now it is my 'craft can' and holds my scissors, glue, pencils etc.

Patterened paper that i got with my scrapbooking album
Orange ribbon and various buttons from my stash
Flower embellishments from my stash that i put together with dimensionals and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Distress ink (walnut stain).

Birthday Wishes

Now i am making up for being quiet over the last couple of days! I love my Hero Arts flower stamps (can you tell?! lol) Anyway, today i have gone away from my usual colours and i thought i would experiment with some black cardstock. Personally, i love the black and white (previous blog) and this black and yellow together so i might me trying it again in the very near future.

Silly Me !

Good afternoon everyone, i am so silly. I decided to play along with the Card Patterns Challenge #143 so made my card and forgot to upload it and now its too late! lol Oh well, never mind, will share it with you anyway. As you can probably tell, i am a fan of this folded Christmas tree design, it is so easy yet effective and as i still have a few Christmas cards to be getting on with, i might be using it again! This card was made with a male relative in mind hence the masculine colours! My cards for Cancer Research UK


Good evening crafters,
Discovering close family and friends had cancer was devastating so i thought it was time to do my bit and raise money to help fund research into this disease.

The charity selected is Edinburgh Cancer Research UK Centre and the groundbreaking work at this centre will inshAllah (God willing) open new doors to finding ways to stop cancer in its tracks and improve survival for patients. You can visit
their website to find out more about the centres works at: www.ecrc.ed.ac.uk.

To raise money i have taken up the challenge of creating handcrafted greetings cards and 100% of all donations received for the cards will go directly to this cause.
