Good afternoon, Well, i told you there would be two posts today and that i had something to tell you....didnt i? Actually, i have have two things in the pipe line at the moment but i can only share one with you today!  Yep, as if you have probably guessed from the post title, i have been asked to join the fabulous talented DT at Sentimental Sundays.  I am so honoured and delighted. 

So, today i am here to share with you my first DT card for Sentimental Sundays.

Little Ballerina

Good morning all,

 

I hope you are all having a good weekend and that you are all keeping well.  This is my first of two posts today and if you pop back later, i have some exciting news to share.

 

For now, i am here to tell you about this week's challenge at One Stitch at a Time.

 

The theme is: Use a Digi.  Nice easy one yeah?

 

I was lucky enough to be given this pretty 'little ballerina'  digi for my card today.  You can find her here.  I have teamed her up with paper from the Cotton Tail paper collection from We R Memory Keepers. The sentiment is by Hero Arts (i think!). The flowers are from Hobbycraft and i painted them using Martha Stewart paint. Pearls from my stash. Sorry, just realised my photo is looking a bit dull.  It is hard to get the right light here sometimes. :(

Cute as a Button at Crafty Catz

Good morning all,

 

I hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend.  I am just popping in to let you know about this week's challenge at Crafty Catz.  This is my last week as GDT and what a quick 4 weeks it has been.  Thank you Crafty Catz for making me feel so welcome.  :D

Hearts & Flowers at Charisma Cardz

Good morning all,

 

 I hope you are all having a good day.  Today is a public holiday here so there was no early school run this morning (schools here start at 7:40 am!) and i am planning on having a relaxing day.  Probably wont end up like that but at least i can try! 

 

Yesterday was busy, dropped little man at school 7:40 am (we have to go by car, its too far), back home, back to school 10:20 for kid/parent presentation about our home country, back home, back to school to pick up little man at home time, back home, back to school at night for little man's first school disco! Back home, pick up Daddy cos we were using the car,  back home................ shattered! lol

 

Anyhoo, enough about me! I'm here to let you know about the new challenge over at Charisma Cardz.

PAPER NECKLACE & MINI ALBUM @ CRAFTY CATZ

Good morning all,

 

I hope you are all well.  Well, this is my 3rd week as Guest DT at the fabulous Crafty Catz and i am having a ball. 

 

The theme for this week's challenge is: ANYTHING BUT A CARD.  How cool is that?

For my projects, i couldn't decide what to make. I thought about a mini chipboard album but i have wanted to try and make a paper beaded necklace for ages too.  You can buy them here in Dubai but who wants to buy them when you can make them yourself! So, what did i decide to make? Yep, both!  Here they are..... I would be delighted to hear what you think.

My little Treasure

Good afternoon all,

 

I hope you are all having a good day.  Today, i am here to share something with you other than a card. 

 

It's a Kaisercraft frame that i painted with Martha Stewart multi purpose acrylic paint and decorated and embellished it using  My Mind's Eye 'The Sweetest Thing' collection.  All the embellies and papers are from this collection except for the flowers and butterflies.  The flowers were cream but i painted them with the Martha Stewart acrylic paint to match the frame.  The photo is my son when he was a few months old.  Now he is at school! Where does the time go?  This was a DT project for the fabulous Paper Lane and was featured in their beautiful store along side the gorgeous MME 'The Sweetest Thing' collection.

Just saying Hello

Good morning all,

 

I hope this post finds you all well.  My little man is back at school after a week off with fever and a virus and now it's my turn.... oh joy! 

 

Anyhoo, enough of me, i am here to tell you about the new challenge at One Stitch at a Time.  This week the theme is Anything Goes... a nice easy one.

 

For my project this week, i was given this fab digi to work with.  It's called 'Parrot' (obviously) and is by Barbara Jensen and can be found here. The background paper is from the 'Homemade' mini theme kit from Echo Park and the green striped paper is from 'School Daze' by My Mind's Eye.
