Hearts & Flowers at Charisma Cardz

Good morning all,

 

 I hope you are all having a good day.  Today is a public holiday here so there was no early school run this morning (schools here start at 7:40 am!) and i am planning on having a relaxing day.  Probably wont end up like that but at least i can try! 

 

Yesterday was busy, dropped little man at school 7:40 am (we have to go by car, its too far), back home, back to school 10:20 for kid/parent presentation about our home country, back home, back to school to pick up little man at home time, back home, back to school at night for little man's first school disco! Back home, pick up Daddy cos we were using the car,  back home................ shattered! lol

 

Anyhoo, enough about me! I'm here to let you know about the new challenge over at Charisma Cardz.

I was delighted to receive this beautiful image from Stamp Fairy to

use on my card.  You can find it here. I coloured it with copics and paper pieced the tie and bow.  The papers are from the XOXO collection by American Crafts.  The corners are Cheery Lynn die cuts and the flowers are from Hobbycraft that i coloured using Martha Stewart paints.

Halloween or fall colours

Good morning all

I hope you are all having a good weekend. Well, Saturday it is again so i am here to let you know all about this week's challenge at 2 Sisters Challenge blog.

The theme this week is....HALLOWEEN OR FALL COLOURS.

The sponsor is the fabulous... The Digi Garden.

I was fortunate enough to receive this fantastic digi to use on my card. I paper pieced her dress to match the background and the papers are by My Mind's Eye.  The delightful bingo card is from Echo Park.  The image is coloured with copics.

Just Inspirational Challenges Week 25

This week it's Design Team B's turn to provide the inspiration.  I was lucky enough to be given this fab digi from the sponsor to use.  I coloured it with copics and paper pieced the dress. The papers are from We R Memory Keepers Cotton Tail paper pad.

Thinking of You

Good evening all, hope you are all having a good day.  I went for a little walk today outside down by the marina. Making the most of the outdoors just now before it gets too hot. Anyway, enough of me, what about my cards? Well, today i have two cards to show you.  Both cards have been made using stamps and sentiments from the fab candy i won recently from the lovely Naomi.  The first one is a practice card, a CAS sympathy card using Prima Marketing Clear Stamps for the image and a Paper and Such sentiment.  The second card is a Paper and Such 'Better Poppies' clear stamp.  I stamped the image straight onto the card, then stamped another image onto cardstock, coloured it with Tim Holtz distress inks ( i cant live without these inks) and then paper pieced them.  The sentiment is also from the same Better Poppies set.  The border was made using an EK Success border punch and the edges were also distressed.  The ribbon was from my stash. What do you think?
