1st DT card for Crafty Catz

Good morning all,

Yay! Today is the day! My first DT project for Crafty Catz is here!  Yep, there is a new challenge over at Crafty Catz and the inspiration from the DT is fabulous. Please pop over and give them some love.

The theme this week is: St David's Day (He is the Patron Saint of Wales) so you can make anything you like as long as it contains a Dragon or a Daffodil.  Easy, right?

There are two fantastic sponsors.

Pink Gem Designs are offering one lucky winner 3 digis of their choice.

J&C Creations are offering a £10 gift voucher.

I was delighted to receive this super cute digi 'Denny with Watering Can' from Pink Gem Designs to use on my card. You can find him here. I teamed him up with some DP from Echo Park 'Dots & Stripes' collection, added some layers, some ribbon, some buttons, a sentiment and a bow.  Voila!

Challenges i'd like to enter:

Simply Create Too #32 St Patrick's Day (or use mostly green)

Thank you for taking the time to visit today. Also, extending a warm friendly welcome to my newest followers.  I hope you all have a great weekend.

Hugs, Jill x

Don't be Square!

Good morning all,

I hope this post finds you in good health. Today the schools are on holiday and all of next week because it is Eid Al Adha tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday and end of term.  Where have the last 9 weeks gone?  It only seems like yesterday i was worrying about my little man starting school for the first time and now it's end of term 1 already!

Eid tomorrow means a little shopping spree today to buy some pressies for little man and maybe hubby! Oh, and some scrummy food unless i can persuade hubby to take us out for dinner.

Anyway, enough from me, i am really here to tell you about this week's challenge at Charisma Cardz.

Its a fun challenge, the theme is DON'T BE SQUARE!!

There are two fabulous sponsors too with two fabby prizes.

Digi Stamp Boutique are offering one very lucky winner 6 digis of their choice..... awesome!

Card Mad Fairy's Creations are offering one lucky winner 5 digis of their choice.... fab!

And here is my card. An octagon card base using 'Marco' from the Digi Stamp Boutique. The papers are from Echo Park and the sentiment from my PC. I coloured this cute image with copics.

It would be great if you could join us in this challenge.  If you pop over to Charisma Cardz you will get lots of fabulous inspiration.

Thank you for visiting today. Will be over to see you all soon.

Hugs, Jill x
